How to use 26 January shayari in a speech
A Republic Day speech in school usually runs two to three minutes. Shayari works best at two points: the opening and the last line.
- Opening: greet the principal, teachers and guests, then say one 2 line shayari slowly. Pause after the first line so people listen for the rhyme.
- Middle: talk about what 26 January means. The samvidhan came into force on this day in 1950, which is why we call it gantantra diwas. Keep facts simple and correct.
- Closing: use a four line piece from the speech section and end with "Jai Hind".
Practise the Hindi once aloud. If you are more comfortable with the Roman script, read from the Hinglish line, the words are the same.
